Lali's Bits for Poser and DS

Erogenesis' Lali's Bits (for Poser or DS)

What can I say about Erogenesis' Lali's Bits. Its probably the most complex add on for Victoria 4
ever attempted by a third party content creator. Ero's original name for it, the Lali System is probably a more accurate title. This package includes over 100 morphs that a user can adjust themselves and over 100 that work automatically. To rate it fairly, lets look at the major components of the system separately.

Erogenesis adds the bits, you add the attitude

The genital system is the most obvious component, so lets start there. Ero has created the most realistic and detailed genital set for V4 out there. I've tested more then a few and some are better then others, but Lali's bits beats them all.

Some female genital morphs try to use the existing polygons of V4's geometry to replicate the complete genital, and some (like Poseidon Tech's Misty morph) get pretty close. The problem is that V4 only has so many polygons to go around and detail is somewhat low. Plus you can't make up for lack of detail because the mesh is so stretched out that it washes out bump and displacement maps beyond recognition.

Others have tried the smart prop route with a separate figure to represent the genital but this often lacks the natural ability to follow the movement of the hips and thighs. Also the smart prop approach means that the user has to blend or edit textures and fool with transparency maps. Extra work that most user don't want to do.

The system works well, even with custom characters

Part of what makes Lali's Bits so unique is that it uses both methods to maximum effect. The injection morphs simulate only the outer genital regions and anus, while the prop creates the inner genital region. The vagina prop is pre-textured and highly detailed ( so much so that viewing it alone, without V4 covering most of it, is disturbingly reminiscent of a highschool biology lesson I'd sooner forget ) and auto conforms to a selected V4 figure with no adjustment needed in most cases ( more extreme characters may be a different story, but my custom recurring characters had no issues ). The prop is linked to the "Lalified" V4's morphs so once it's conformed, to control it, you use the main Lali control morphs in V4. So that part is pretty simple.

It's does get a bit complicated when you realize just how many morphs Ero put into this system... There are some lovely presets for the vagina to realistically vary the "at rest" look, plus dozens of morphs to adjust the details and simulate "in action" looks. It can be a bit daunting to go through them all. Same goes for the ass morphs, there are lots of different morphs there too for "at rest" and "in action" scenes.

Another nifty feature ( there are soo many that I know I'm gonna miss a few ), is that since system is linked to the included bend morphs through an elaborate and high technical series of dependant morphs, when you move V4's legs ( like bending her over or spreading her thighs ) the vagina subtly changes shape in response so you get a nature look in most poses with any further input from the user!

And since we've mentioned the Lali bend morph, let's talk about that next. Erogenesis said that creating the bend morph was his primary reason for starting work on "The Lali System" to fix the mess that was V4's ass and thighs. As most user quickly become aware, one of that greatest failings of V4 is the hideously unnatural way her rear end reacts when she is bent over. The Lali's Bits morph automatically fixes this problem by reshaping her bottom dynamically as each leg bends. The morph also affects the thighs and knees making a much more attractive leg and buttock over all. It works remarkably well and creates a realistic and appealing posterior.

Erogenesis, the generous soul that he is ( I've had the privilege of conversing with him by email on many occasions and I not just blowing smoke, he really is a hell of a nice guy ) decide to add a few extras to the package when he ported the Lali system for sale as Lali's Bits, one of the best has to be the collection of breast morphs. Ero put about a half dozen breast shape morphs in with Lali's Bits, all very natural looking ( none of those floating cannonball "antigravity gazongas" here ) and should be very useful to any artist looking to create a character with a realistically large bust. My favorite addition has to be the breast movement morphs.

Honestly, I've tested a few breast movement morphs since I started with 3d, and this one is truly outstanding! There are some very good breast movement systems out there, but this one beats them in two important areas, ease of use and realism. The use the movement morphs you can either go to V4/Erogenesis/Tit morphs and control each breast independently or V4/Erogenesis/Poses/Breast Movement and position both breast simultaneously. To control the movement morphs, you just move the morph dial, up, down,left, right, hang... It's that easy! No handles to grab (which half the time don't work right ) very little mesh distortion, just breasts moving the way God intended. The realism of these morphs is awesome an they where clearly created buy someone who intended that his characters have large natural breasts and not gravity defying fake stripper tits (and have no fear, they work just as well on small breasted characters to). If Ero had sold just the breast movement morphs separately, I would have still been thrilled, because they are among the best I've ever seen!

There are still more extras, like morphs for Lali's trademark smile and a lip biting expression (which is notoriously hard to achieve ), plus a mouth open morph and complimentary neck morph for those extra special "trouser friendly kiss" scenes.



What you get:

A Custom morph injection that fixes many of Victoria 4's short comings (hip bending, female genitals, and natural breast movement) and added a few new features

A Vagina Prop for the inner genital regions

Lots of bonus morphs

What you don't get:

You Do Not get the Lali character. She's proprietary to Erogenesis and his artwork. (but now you're favorite naughty 3D girl can do all the fun things Lali can do)

The only included texture is for the vagina prop.

This package is for DAZ 3D's Victoria 4 and 4.2 based characters (Aiko 4, Stephanie 4, She Freak 4) Only it is not compatable with Genesis

The System is available for Poser and Daz Studio (but check the version info. The Poser version doesn't work with Poser 7 for reasons unknown [ Edit: Had a friend point out that he uses Lali's Bits with only minor glitching. He said to reset the "Sexy Chick morph" to 0 as that seems to fix the issues. -Thanks Bgrissett1 for the tip]. The DAZ Studio version only works with 4.0 and higher. It will not work with 3.0, trust me, I tried)

Installation is pretty easy. But, for the love of God, Read the instruction manual!!! It's a complicated system and skipping steps will only cause headaches!

Overall Opinion

Lali's Bit's is the new must have for erotic 3D artists! Lots of products do bits and pieces of what Lali's Bit can do, but Lali's Bits does it all and does it better then pretty much anything else.

Notes: One of my few concerns was compatibility with X&M Perfect V4 series of products which I uses constantly to fix bend issues all over V4. It turns out that because both us custom morph channels, you can use both at the same time (but obviously don't load Perfect Booty and Thighs and Perfect Legs, because they will conflict with Lali's bits own fixes for these areas). The end result truly is fantastic

Value for the Money

At $20.00 USD, Lali's Bits is a great investment at twice the price! Just the Breast Morphs are worth the $20 bucks. If your doing erotic 3D renderings invest in Lali's Bits, you won't regret it!
